Bhopal:Monday, June 15 :Governor Dr. Balram Jakhar has said that India is the best example of unity in diversity. He was honouring Urdu litterateurs at the local Mulla Ramuzi Sanskriti Bhawan here on Sunday. All the languages of India favour humanitarianism and have the capacity to unite people. Terming various languages of Indian as a beautiful bouquet, Dr. Jakhar said every language has the right to prosper in the society.
Governor Dr. Jakhar gave away shawls, coconuts and citations to noted Urdu litterateurs Sarvashri Zafar Nasimi, Qasim Niyazi, Prof. Afaq Ahmad, Arman Akbarabadi, Govind Arya, Imtiyaz Anjum, Naseer Parvaz, Zafar Sahbai, Khalid Abidi, Dr. Mohammad Noman, Saifi Sironji, Abdul Qadeer Khan, Naeem Kausar, Anil Agrawal, Siddiq Ahmad and Sushri Farhat Jahan.
Out the outset, editor of Urdu magazine 'Karvan-e-Adab' Shri Javed Yazdani welcomed the Governor and other guests. Vice-president of Urdu Qaumi Council, Delhi Shri Chandrabhan Khayal was the chief guest of the function while it was presided over by former MP and ex-chairman of Urdu Academy Shri Aziz Qureshi. Connoisseurs of Urdu literature and poetry of the State capital were present on the occasion.
